The 2025-2026 NBA season is now underway, expectations are high, and this first week has already given us a few indications!
The defending champions, Oklahoma City Thunder, are already at the top of the NBA with 4 wins in 4 games; are they the perfect candidates to succeed themselves? We will see for ourselves in New York during trips with the #FFBB and with #okcthunderfrance also in their own arena in Oklahoma!
Wemby has started off at a gallop with the Spurs, with XXL performances and Top 10 plays… Voted player of the 1st week, he is moving forward as a credible candidate for the MVP title and as the leader of a team aiming for the Play-offs in a highly competitive Western Conference. This year we will follow the Spurs in San Antonio with #TrashTalk and #SpursNationFrance, in Philadelphia with the #FFBB, and during our #Spurs in NY trip in February, with a game at the Nets and an optional Spurs game at the Knicks!
The New York Knicks, who have welcomed our French national team captain, #Guerschon Yabusele, have high expectations for the season; we will visit the legendary Madison Square Garden with #KnicksNationFrance in January for a big game against #Jokic's #Nuggets, then the arrival of the #Spurs in February, #OKC in March, and finally a game against the #Celtics in April.
In the West: On the #Lakers side, Luka Doncic has started strong, and LeBron James is beginning his 23rd season, while their neighbors, the Clippers of our Frenchy #NicolasBatum, will continue to play in their magnificent Intuit Dome arena, which can be seen during a visit to Los Angeles. A little further north, it is Steph Curry's #Warriors who are in good form at the start of this season. These are 3 franchises we will see during our #California Love trip!
In Texas, the #DallasMavs of rookie Cooper Flagg, Kyrie Irving, and Anthony Davis are still finding their rhythm, while Kevin Durant “KD” has returned to his Texas roots with the young and promising #Rockets. Two serious neighbors for the Spurs.
The pleasant surprises of this start to the season are the #ChicagoBulls and the Philadelphia #Sixers.
